Galaxie Gathering Number 19 was held on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 9:30 am as part of the Fourth Annual Telegraph Cruise at Oxford Lanes at 2200 South Telegraph Road in Dearborn, Michigan. This was our second of two July events for the Motor City Galaxie Club!
The route for the cruise was Telegraph Road between Redford and Taylor. Parking was secured for the Motor City Galaxie Club at Oxford Lanes, a bowling alley located approximately 1/4 mile south of Michigan Avenue on the west side of Telegraph Road. Thank you so much to Oxford Lanes for letting us use their parking lot again this year! Here's a map:
It turned out to be a beautiful day, with only a few minutes of very light rain mid-afternoon. We had a total of 31 members (5 of them new!), 7 spouses and 1 parent attend the show with 33 cars (left click on the hyperlinks below to be taken to that new member's "Members' Cars" web page):
