VIN 5J66Z176145, BODY 63B, COLOR M, TRIM 65, DATE 03F, DSO 72, AXLE 1, TRANS 4 This very nice west-coast 1965 Galaxie 500 2-door hardtop has 68,000 miles, believed to be original. All paint, interior, trunk and spare tire are original. The body is very clean and straight. Paint is nice, it has only been hand waxed since purchase, would look even better if wheeled out. The left rear edge of the hood has a minor wrinkle. Red bench seat interior is very nice, passenger seatback needs repair, possibly restitched. All gauges work, including the vintage aftermarket gauges on the dash. Has new 15" Weld Wheels and Yokohama tires. Original steel wheels and hubcaps with newer tires (400 miles) are also included. All tags and chalk marks remain under hood. Heater and A/C works, needs charged. New fuel pump, shocks and dual exhaust made from original tube bending cards. Exhaust manifolds still have the tabs on the bolts, likely never been touched. The Z-code 390 FE 4 barrel runs strong, and the column-shift Cruise-O-Matic transmission shifts fine. The car is located in Ionia, Michigan, stored in a heated shop. The car has been in Michigan a very short time. Not a nicer original anywhere! Need the room in the shop, bought another race car. Title is clear, car is ready to go. Asking $14,500 or best offer. Please contact Ken Felice at Felice Racing via phone at 616-340-1411 or via e-mail at ken@feliceracing.com for more details, or to arrange a viewing.
