Galaxie Gathering Number 28 was held on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 9:30 am at Dearborn 2010, the 41st Annual Ford & Mercury Restorers Club car show and swap meet in Belleville. The Motor City Galaxie Club donated $3,200 ($2,950 net proceeds from the 2010 Spring Fling + $250 from the club account) to Wigs 4 Kids, www.wigs4kids.org, on Wednesday, July 14th! The Motor City Galaxie Club donated $500 (about 25% of our annual dues revenue) to the Grace Centers of Hope, www.gracecentersofhope.org, of Pontiac on Tuesday, June 1st! Galaxie Gathering Number 25 was held on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 8:30 am at the 35th Annual Shelby American Automobile Club Motor City Region Show & Go at Ford Motor Company World Headquarters in Dearborn. 15 club members and 5 spouses with 13 Galaxies, 4 other Fords, and 1 427 SOHC-powered boat were in attendance. Pictures are posted here! The 2010 Spring Fling was held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 6 pm at Descent of the Holy Ghost in Warren. A whopping 256 people attended, and pictures are posted here!
